On Justice and Unity: a Queer Devotion

- Galatians 3:28 "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
Message:
Justice is not passive; it is active, flowing like mighty waters, unstoppable and cleansing. G-d calls their people to pursue justice, not just in words but in action. Justice is not about empty rituals but about standing up for those who are oppressed.
Paul reminds us that in Christ, all barriers—race, status, gender—are dissolved. This verse speaks to the radical inclusivity of the Gospel. If we are all one in Christ, then we must stand against discrimination and affirm the dignity of every person, including trans individuals.
What Can You Do:
- Speak Out: Justice requires action. When we see injustice against trans people, we must speak up, advocate, and educate others.
- Act Up: Love is not silent. Just as Christ welcomed all, we must create spaces of belonging and affirmation.
- Fight Back: Faith calls us to embody justice and unity, ensuring that all people experience the love and acceptance of of the Divine.
